The On the Record…Online podcast series began in the spring of 2005 as a trade show promotion. Schwartzmanand his colleagues didn’t expect much to come of the few interviews he conducted with leading journalists. So they were surprised to find two months later that the initial series of podcasts had been downloaded more than 15,000 times.
