Alex Boese’s Museum of Hoaxes is an encyclopedia of oddities, curiosities and trickery. It grew out of a very serious pursuit: Boese’s Ph.D. thesis. What started as an academic exercise has become a career for the San Diego-based man, whose second book will be published in 2007.
